Key Reports:
- Treasurer’s Report: No changes since last month. Financial report attached.
- Chief Steward’s Report: Long-standing settlement to be implemented with Workday. Members working at least four hours of day shift with four hours of swing or graveyard shift will receive a 7% shift differential for all hours worked. Members are advised to check time cards for correct application.
Old Business:
- Negotiation Update: A 10% raise has been agreed upon. The current issue is management’s proposed change in holiday pay calculation, which the union opposes.
- Workday: Concerns about manual entry requirements for sick time, annual leave, and overtime in Workday. Members are urged to check pay for accuracy and report discrepancies. A meeting with management is planned to address Workday issues.
New Business:
- Convention Call: The AFSCME International Convention will be held on August 12-16 in Los Angeles. Elections for delegates will be held. Interested members must be in good standing and actively participate in the convention.
